"I'm told that the letters of my first name form the color of iced tea or pale plums or eucalyptus leaves (with silvery undersides). "

I drank Mate in Argentina and Chile. I even had my own mate "cup" with the metal straw (bombilla) and everything. It was at my dad's house when I was in college and I think they threw it out.

How to prepare and drink a traditional Mate!

Where the FUCK is everyone? You think I created this community for my health? No! It's a support community for the purpose of sharing encouragement and camaraderie among those whose interests include ... well, you know the drill.

It's a movement now. It can't be stopped.

If this community can continue to double its membership every six days, we'll have over a quarter of a million members by March 2002.

Gee, it sure is fun being a non-smoking synesthesiac Catholic Buddhist, living here in the Pacific Northwest, skating, drinking yerba mate tea, reading books by authors like Harry Kemelman, Neale Donald Walsch, Paramahansa Yogananda, Thich Nhat Hanh and Douglas Adams and listening to music by artists and composers like Philip Glass, Poe, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan and Mozart! Kind of takes the edge off.

While I was sitting here trying to think of what else to write, I become sexually aroused at the sight of that Britney Spears poster where she's standing on the porch in denim cutoffs and a pink top. Whooda thunkit.

I sure hate that Gay Communist Gun Club! I mean, don't get me wrong, some of my best friends are homosexuals, communists and gun owners. It's just that goddamn Gay Communist Gun Club! I cannot rest until that organization has been banned from existence.

Oh well. At least we finally have a support community where we can find encouragement and camaraderie!

current mood: excited
